LONG LAKE BASS CLUB CONSERVATION

WHEN THIS CLUB WAS ESTABLISHED over thirty years ago and THE FOUNDERS BELIEVED IN A BALANCE OF TOURNAMENT FISHING, CONSERVATION, YOUTH, AND FAMILY FELLOWSHIP. TODAY THOSE BASIC PRINCIPLES ARE STILL IN PLACE, as can be seen in our current constitution and by-laws, AND CONSIDERING THIS IS A RELATIVELY SMALL CLUB, IT'S MEMBERSHIP continues to STRONGLY SUPPORT ALL STATE AND LOCAL YOUTH AND CONSERVATION PROJECTS AND GOALS.

  • The purpose for which this organization has been formed is to actively protect and enhance all warm water fish and the waters in which they reside. (LLBC constitution Article 2, section 1)
  • To Cooperate to the fullest measure with other sportsmen groups interested in the conservation of game fish and the waters in which they reside. (LLBC constitution Article 2, section 3)
  • To fight pollution and habitat decline in all waters in Washington State. (LLBC constitution Article 2, section 5)
  • To strive for public education in the conservation of all warm water fish. (LLBC constitution Article 2, section 6)

Zebra Mussels

Bob Steiner & I went to the Federation meeting on March 17, 2007 and listened to Eric Anderson talk about, Aquatic invasive species (AIS). Click on either link below for more info. We are trying to get Officer Eric Anderson to attend a meeting and enlighten all on Zebra Mussels. This is for ALL fishermen-not just bass club members.
